Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before hitting the slopes with The Ski Company.
How do I determine the correct ski length for my height and skill level?
Generally, skis should reach between your chin and the top of your head. Beginners should opt for shorter skis for better control, while advanced skiers may prefer longer skis for stability at high speeds. Check our comprehensive Size Guide on each product page for specific brand recommendations.
What is your return policy for boots and technical gear?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all unused gear in its original packaging. For ski boots, we recommend trying them on indoors on a carpeted surface to ensure a perfect fit before removing tags, as we cannot accept returns on boots that show signs of outdoor wear or customization.
Do you offer professional binding mounting and adjustment?
Yes, we provide professional mounting services. If you purchase both skis and bindings from us, you can provide your boot sole length (BSL) and skier profile during checkout, and our certified technicians will mount them before shipping.
How long does shipping take for oversized items like skis and snowboards?
Standard shipping for oversized equipment typically takes 5-7 business days within the continental US. All equipment is shipped in reinforced, double-walled boxes to ensure it arrives in pristine condition.
Do you ship internationally for winter sports enthusiasts outside the US?
We currently ship to Canada, Europe, and Australia. Please note that international orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer upon delivery.
Are the products sold on your site covered by a manufacturer warranty?
Absolutely. As an authorized retailer for all brands we carry, every product is covered by the full manufacturer's warranty against defects. If you experience an issue, contact our support team and we will facilitate the warranty claim for you.
